Susan J. Longini has been involved in the glass world for over 3 decades as studio artist, educator, and administrator.

She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts with a major in sculpture from the University of Michigan and did postgraduate studies in glass at San Jose State University and California College of the Arts. What is one piece of advice you would give to an emerging artist?

My work has evolved, but I am still working with glass, p?te de verre method. Since the fellowship I have been commissioned by two large hospitals to create multiple installations; have exhibited in various galleries around the country; and have also shown in several museums, including the Triton Museum of Art, The Los Gatos Museum of Art, and the Oakland Museum.
