ARTIST LAUREATE AWARD INFO

What do you do now? Has your art evolved or changed?

I was proud to have been selected by the Fellowship committee, and I include that honor in my curriculum vitae.

What is one piece of advice you would give to an emerging artist?

I?m retired, although I still write - several books, some fiction, other non fiction. I?ve also written concert reviews for San Francisco Classical Voice. To see (or order) my books, go to: http://www.leesonbooks.com/

Briefly, how would you describe the state of the arts locally, as well as national and beyond?

Don't give up when your early stuff doesn't make it.

Provides for an exceptional environment.
